Our Facilities Management Team is comprised of highly-skilled professionals from multiple technical disciplines who are devoted to the integration and coordination of all business support services relating to PPI client properties.

Working closely with Regional and On-site Property Managers, they ensure that our client properties are operated in an optimal, safe and cost effective environment. Above all, the most important responsibility of the Facilities Management Team concerns the adherence to PPI’s Standards of Excellence in both Housing Quality and Property Management Business Practices. To that end, our Facilities Department has developed and implemented an internal inspection system that was designed to the model of HUD’s Real Estate Assessment Center (REAC), but in practice exceeds the standards of that program.



Our Facility Managers are additionally responsible for oversight in the areas of:

  • Health and Safety (including risk assessment, OSHA requirements, fire prevention and security)
  • General Maintenance (support of on-site maintenance staff in the areas of building systems, HVAC, preventive, routine and emergency maintenance procedures)
  • Capital Improvements (including identification of projects, procurement of contractor bids, coordination of work in progress and ongoing project updates to clients)
  • The Application of LEED Standards (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), as established by the USGBC (US Green Building Council), at client properties
