Heritage Quilters Guild Designs Colorful, Patriotic Quilts for Pleasant Street Apartments Residents
In appreciation of local veterans, 15 members of Heritage Quilters Guild, in coordination with Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing social worker Melanie Sarna, designed and stitched colorful and patriotic quilts for more than 30 veteran residents of Pleasant Street Apartments in Beverly. The handmade quilts provide warmth and brighten the homes of these North Shore residents who proudly served our country.
Pleasant Street Apartments is a 32-unit apartment community located on Pleasant Street, managed by Braintree-based real estate firm Peabody Properties, Inc. and offering permanent, supportive housing for formerly homeless veterans.
