
Scott Ployer Named Vice President of Facilities and Capital Planning, Romell Kidd Promoted to Company Recruiter
Peabody Properties, Inc., announced that Scott Ployer has joined the firm as Vice President of Facilities and Capital Planning and Property Manager Romell Kidd has been promoted to the position of Company Recruiter.
In his new role, Ployer will oversee all technical services provided to properties, direct all sustainability initiatives and work with more than 160 employees, including Facilities and Service Managers and Maintenance Technicians, to expand the efficiency of facilities operations throughout the company. Ployer has almost 30 years of experience in residential and commercial real estate and facilities and asset management. A Certified Property Manager (CPM), Master Facility Executive (MFE) and Certified Green Property Manager (CGPM), Ployer is a member of numerous international, national and regional boards and associations, including the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA), the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA) and the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM)Boston Metropolitan Chapter.
Prior to joining Peabody Properties, Ployer served as the Vice President of Operations at Trinity Management, LLC where he oversaw facilities, engineering and energy management and capital planning. Earlier in his career, Ployer held management positions at The Community Builders, Inc., Corcoran Jennison Companies, First Investment Corporation/FIC Management and Insignia Management Group.

As Peabody Properties’ Company Recruiter, Kidd will work in close partnership with hiring managers and supervisors to support the company’s commitment to employee engagement and staff development. His responsibilities include fostering positive relationships with new employees, supporting each candidate throughout the employment cycle and serving as a resource and support system for the more than 450 firm employees.
Kidd first joined the Peabody Properties team in 2014 as Property Manager of the Housing Corporation of Arlington’s Capitol Square and Scattered Site Apartments. In early 2015, Kidd transitioned to Property Manager of Anchor’s Weigh Apartments which are located in Chelsea. A designated Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SCHM), Kidd received a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management from The West Indies College in Mandeville, Jamaica.
