"The MGH Institute of Health Professions has been fortunate to partner with the Moorings at Squantum Gardens as part of our Health Promotion and Clinical Education Programs since 2013. This partnership provides students with the hands on experience they need in their education while supporting and assisting the Moorings residents in developing healthy practices and increased strength through exercise. The pairing of the post graduate students in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at the Institute with the Mooring residents is beneficial for all and a program that will be continued for many years to come. What has made a difference in the success of this program is The Moorings having an on-site Resident Service Coordinator to reach out to residents and promote the program. That’s also one of the reasons we collaborate with Peabody Properties as together with their Resident Services Team we’ve also brought the program to residents in Chelsea and East Boston."

Our Philosophy

Peabody Properties recognized from its inception that providing housing for its residents involved much more than building bricks and mortar. Property management is a people business and providing services that respond to the needs of its residents while also offering a connection to the larger community in which they reside are important tools for a company with a stated mission, We put the HOME in housing.

Our Core Values
Respect Is Key
Our Respect Is Key Policy sets the tone for a respectful and harmonious environment at our housing communities and the expectations we have for our staff, residents, visitors and vendors to the properties. Read our policy »
Team Approach
The PPI Resident Services in Housing Model, established over 25 years ago, starts with a Team Approach between Management and Resident Services. We strive for excellence on all levels, helping to enhance the quality of life for those individuals who call a PPI managed community home.
Resident Services Mission
Our goal is to promote successful tenancies for our residents by linking them to the supportive services they may need to assist with lease compliance, benefit well-being, and support aging-in-place. We also enrich the quality of life for all residents through the coordination of on-site educational, wellness, and social programs and activities that foster community-building.
Community Connection
Collaboration and partnerships with community-based providers is essential to being a “good neighbor” in the communities where our housing is located and connects residents to local resources and services. Our approach to program development is resident and stakeholder inclusive, and together, we aim to “bring the community in” by accessing program and grant funding opportunities.
