Peabody Properties, Inc. announced that three employees have been honored by the New England Affordable Housing Management Association (NEAHMA) with industry awards for 2015. Each year, NEAHMA’s Conference and Trade Show recognizes New England-based real estate professionals specializing in affordable housing property management.
Over the last 6 years, Peabody Properties and its employees have been honored by NEAHMA during its annual industry conference for its contributions to the real estate industry. This year, John Thing, Service Manager, was named Maintenance Professional of the Year, Lisa Gagne, Resident Services Manager, was honored as Resident Services Coordinator of the Year and Elizabeth Merzigian, Facilities Manager/Sustainability Initiatives, was recognized as the Certified Green Property Manager (CGPM) of the Year.
According to Melissa Fish-Crane, Principal and Chief Operating Officer of Peabody Properties, each of these awards reaffirms the superior level of professionalism demonstrated by the Peabody Properties team. “We are honored that NEAHMA has recognized our dedicated team members and congratulate them on these much-deserved awards. Everyone at Peabody Properties salutes John, Lisa and Elizabeth for all their hard work and their commitment to providing the highest level of service,” said Fish-Crane.
Elizabeth Merzigian lives in Norwood, John Thing is a resident of Malden and Lisa Gagne resides in Greenfield.
A member of the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA) – the nation’s largest association for property management and owners of privately owned, government-assisted housing – NEAHMA’s mission is to facilitate communication between management agents and local HUD and state housing finance agencies and provide quality training and education on regulatory, legal, legislative and management-related topics. Now in its 27th year, the annual industry conference featured networking opportunities, breakout workshop sessions, a trade show with over 70 exhibitors and the industry awards dinner and ceremony.
